Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect information you provide directly — for example, when you send us a project or contact inquiry, request a downloadable resource, subscribe to our newsletter, chat with our website assistant, or create an account in one of our apps. This typically includes your name, email address, and the contents of any message you choose to send.
We automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our website, such as browser type, device and operating-system information, and aggregate usage and performance data. Where we record the IP address tied to a submission (to prevent spam and abuse), we store it only as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never retain your raw IP address.
If you use the microphone (voice-to-text) feature in our chat assistant, your speech is transcribed by your browser’s built-in speech service — for example Google (in Chrome) or Apple (in Safari) — not by us. That audio is processed by your browser’s own service and is never sent to or stored on our servers; we receive only the resulting text, and only if you choose to send it.
For our health-related products (Low Ox Life, Bio Break, 24H Urine Analysis), any health data you enter is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly opt in to a cloud-sync feature. See each product’s policy for specifics.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our products and services, to respond to your inquiries, and to deliver the resources you request.
When you submit a project or contact inquiry, we use automated tools to help organize and prioritize it — for example, to summarize your message and route it for follow-up. These tools assist our team; a person always makes the final decision about how and whether to respond. This automated processing has no legal or similarly significant effect on you.
We use analytics data in aggregate to understand how our products are used, identify trends, and make improvements. We do not use your personal data to train AI models. See our AI Ethics policy for more details.
We may use your email address to send you product updates, newsletters, and marketing communications. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with a small set of trusted service providers (“sub-processors”) who process it on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These currently include Vercel (website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics), Neon (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (abuse prevention and rate limiting), and Google (the AI model behind our website assistant and inquiry triage). We do not authorize these providers to use your information for their own marketing.
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits.
Health data entered into our apps is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted end-to-end before transmission and storage.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can manage most of your data directly through your account settings in our products.
If you are a resident of California, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

bfl.design is designed to use as few cookies as possible. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Vercel Analytics) is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies to follow you across other sites; it helps us understand site usage and performance in aggregate.
Some essential cookies may be set to keep the site functioning and secure. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose it was collected for. Inquiry and lead information is retained while we evaluate and follow up on your request, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your Rights”). We may retain limited records where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Big Freight Life LLC is based in the United States, and we process and store information there. If you access our services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Our products and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
