The approach

Building got cheap. Deciding what to build didn't.

AI made building nearly free — so now anyone can ship anything. When everyone can build, the bottleneck moves: the question stops being can we build it and becomes what's worth building, and will it hold up once it's real. Those two calls carry all the weight now — get them wrong and you've sunk real budget into a polished system nobody needs, or one no one can use.

So I front-load exactly those two calls. The real leverage isn't the AI — it's shared understanding: design, engineering, product, and the model itself all working from one map.

That deliberate front end looks slow. It's what makes everything after it fast — fewer wrong turns, less rework, nothing rebuilt that should never have shipped. Slow is fast.
